Shipping Policy

Shipping costs are calculated by weight and will be displayed at checkout. We visit the post office once or twice a week, as well as trying to find the best/cheapest service possible within your requirements. 

UK

All UK orders will be shipped standard 1st class, this has a reference code to receive updates on the package. If you would like a fully trackable or quicker service, please let us know. Larger orders over 2KG can also be sent via courier, so please enquire. 

International

All orders will be shipped using the Royal Mail international tracked and signed service (wherever possible). Larger orders over 2KG will be sent using a courier service, this is usually a better price than Royal Mail but we will always try and compare. 

Tip: Orders over 2KG work out at a cheaper overall record to shipping price rate using a courier, so please see below!

We understand, some records you just can't let go and shipping/customs charges make it very difficult for International buyers! Use "place order on hold" at the checkout to build a package with us. 

Once you are happy, email us at Diskfriskrecords@gmail.com and we'll finalise the costs. The shipping will not be added correctly if there are multiple separate orders, so please do not pay before emailing. 

Packaging

As a shop, we try and remain as sustainable as possible. We reuse ALL plastic wallets after every purchase and we do the same with the boxes from orders that the store receives. Of course, this will not hinder the quality of packaging but the type/brand of boxes will always vary! 

Returned Orders

If a package makes it way back to us or the tracking states it will be, please get in touch. We will work with you to figure out why, we are only human and if it's a mistake our end we will of course resend the package ourselves. However, if it has not been collected/missed or the customs bill has not been paid, we will not take any responsibility and this will have to be covered by the customer.

Lost Items

So far, since starting the store, no item has been lost and at the very least it has been sent back to us. We take pride in this and we're here to help. Any worries you have about the delays or potential lost orders, please contact us and we will always work with you to try and get to the bottom of the issue. We do ask that you are patient, but of course there's always a risk with any shipped items and claims at our end can only be made to the postal services after a certain period of time.
